I am Tshabalala Sylvia Maspete, a 22 years old girl from South Africa. Since this June, I am very happy to have the opportunity to study the Communication Technology in School of International Education in NJCIT, and soon I will do an internship chance in the Chinese company.
From the day I set my feet in China, I experienced lots of wonders and saw the beauty of natural environment and a wonderful city Nanjing. At the beginning of the lecture, I had no idea what was going to happen, because I had never spoken Chinese and never studied Chinese before. But surprisingly, all of our teachers try their best to finish the teaching successfully, and they never have trouble explaining the processional concepts, and make sure that we get the knowledge as much as possible.
My roommates next to the door take care of us and showed us what we had to do in our daily life in NJCIT. I understand my ignorance in the technology lives, and what I thought was impossible before becomes possible in the blink of an eye. The Chinese technology simplifies our daily life in various aspects, and makes me feel the dignity of human beings and racial equality at the same time. Therefore, as a feedback, we show our South African culture and customs to our Chinese teachers and classmates, then let China know about South Africa.
I am honored to have the opportunity to study in NJCIT. Since I came to Nanjing, all experiences I have is warm welcome, extensive tolerance and love. I will bring the knowledge which I study back to my country and make South Africa more developed, more perfect and more beautiful.
I want to jump higher and laugh louder so everyone can realize that I am happy, cheerful and satisfy here.
我叫Tshabalala Sylvia Maspete, 一个22岁来自南非的女孩。从今年的6月开始，我很高兴有机会在南京信息职业技术学院学习通信技术专业知识，很快我还会去中国公司实习。
从踏上中国土地的那一天起，我就经历了许多奇迹，看到了美丽的自然环境和南京这座很棒的城市。刚开始上课的时候，我不知道会发生什么，因为我从来没有说过汉语，也从来没有学过中文。但令人惊讶的是，我们所有的老师都尽其所能地完成教学任务，他们从未在传授专业知识的时候遇到任何问题，还会确保我们在学习过程中尽可能获得更多的知识。
我们隔壁的室友也照顾着我们，告诉我们日常生活中必须要做的事情。我体会到了自己对现代科技生活的无知，以前我认为不可能的事情，转瞬之间在这里就变成了可能。中国的科学技术在各个方面简化了我们的日常生活，同时也让我感受到人类的尊严和种族平等。作为回报，我们也向学校的老师和同学们展示了南非的风俗习惯，让中国了解南非。
我很荣幸能有机会在南信院学习，南京给予我的都是温暖、宽容和爱。我将把学到的知识带回我的国家，让它变得更发达、更完善、更美好。
我想跳得更高，笑得更开怀，这样大家就能看到我在这里幸福、愉快和满足地生活。
